On Thursday 25th April a very good turnout of 23 Strollers met in the car park at Bawtry Caravans.

Initially the weather was dry and we walked along Bawtry Road and then into Kings Wood where the bluebells were out in force and other wildflowers were also in bloom.

We exited the wood and walked alongside housing to the A614, under the railway bridge and then, via a ploughed field, back into the wood. Unfortunately by then the rain started to come down.

We saw interesting fungi on some trees on the route making our way back to Bawtry Road and the caravan park.

We then went to Classic & Contemporary for lunch.
