The membership year for Doncaster u3a runs from APRIL - MARCH.

Annual membership of Doncaster u3a provides access to:

• Monthly Members Meetings
• Unlimited Interest Groups
• Special Events
• Doncaster u3a Newsletters
• issues of 'Third Age Matters' magazine
• Online events hosted by the national u3a
• Other national u3a activities - sign up to the friends newsletter for a monthly digest

New Members

If you would like to try us out, please come along to one of our Members Meetings on the third Monday of the month or our Coffee Mornings every Tuesday, both held at Powerhouse.

You will be welcomed as a visitor and you will be able to try out some groups as a 'taster session'. After that, should you wish to continue to attend meetings and groups, you will be expected to join the Doncaster u3a. Group leaders will be able to give you information about joining or you can email Membership for details.

2025/26 Membership Fees

• The cost for individual membership is £12
• 2 members at the same address pay £20 for joint membership
• Members of another u3a can apply for associate membership at a cost of £6
• Those wishing to have newsletters posted to them pay an additional charge to cover costs

How to pay

• Cheque or cash at a monthly members meeting

Gift Aid

• If you are a taxpayer and would like us to reclaim tax from the Government on your subscription as a Gift Aid donation please indicate this on your membership form.
• Please contact the Treasurer as soon as possible if you are no longer a tax-payer as the Inland Revenue will seek to claim any Gift Aid overpaid to the DU3A directly from you and not from the Du3a.
