10 members of the U3A Stretchers Group met at the Royal Oak in Tickhill on Monday 24th June at 10:15.
After detailing the walk and outlining the potential risks and hazards; Wendy led the way.
She led us on an interesting and varied walk to Stancil, through fields, woodland and farm tracks; with no mud for a change.
There was some interesting information of the local farming area, and discussion of the crops.
It was a hot day, but Wendy made sure we stopped for water in shaded areas several times.
Most of the group returned the the Royal Oak for lunch.
