Inspired by Anthony Seldon’s The Path of Peace, Phil Drabble retraced the historic Western Front from the Swiss border to the Belgian coast on a Triumph Tiger motorbike. Travelling through Alsace, Lorraine, Champagne, the Somme and Flanders, this is less a journey through place and more a journey through memory. Phil's deeply personal account serves as a tribute to all who fought and died, focusing on the poignant story of two men from his native Nottingham to bring the human cost of war into sharp focus.
