Most members usually bring along a bit of preparation, to give them confidence to get started speaking some simple French. We discuss anything and everything - recent trips/holidays are one common choice - or something from recent press coverage. Although none of us claim to be good at speaking French, we can usually help each other with pronunciation and some useful phrases. And we always do it with laughter!
