Venues and times may vary depending on the activity. If a specific activity is not arranged we meet at Potteric Carr and take advantage of the natural habitat on our doorstep. The Group is for anyone who loves nature and wants to spend time in beautiful locations learning about, or just enjoying, its many facets.

Meetings can be themed and at those times we may be joined by an expert guide. On other occasions we’ll choose a venue and go on a nature walk for the simple pleasure of being out with like-minded friends. If facilities allow, we usually have lunch or tea/coffee and cake.

Members of the Group are advised to wear clothing appropriate for the time of year and weather. Also those prone to attract insect bites may need extra protection.
